Tankey Kang Review


This was my first experience with game develop, a 3rd person tank game that I named Tankey Kang.

There were many things that i learnt from this experience and i would say that the most important take away was an understanding of the importance of having a development timeline. Because I did not properly plan out how I would go about developing this game I found that what i was trying to do took far longer than expected. For example the camera in this game caused a great amount of difficulty. To properly program the camera to work as i wanted i had to use raycasting to check for collisions with the environment. This ended up being far more complicated than expected and I may have been more prepared for it if i had planned ahead better.
